Sexy, strong and funny best describe Minae Noji, whose versatility and willingness to push boundaries have earned her an impressive resume spanning film, TV and stage. Driven by a desire to inspire and make a difference, the radiant beauty with a quirky sense of humor has fans and power players taking notice.

Most recently Noji could be seen on the big screen in BITCH SLAP, as the yo-yo wielding, schoolgirl assassin Kinki. This instant cult classic screened at the Cannes & Toronto Film Festivals and won Best Picture and Best Acting for its ensemble cast at the Costa Del Sol International Fantasy Festival. Impressed by her breakout performance and flair for comedy, the filmmakers singled out Kinki for DVD extras and a promotional YouTube clip, shooting additional footage completely improvised by Noji. She also appeared on the BITCH SLAP soundtrack, singing the catchy tune “Dangerous Love.”

A rare Hollywood, California native, Noji found inspiration in such legends as Lucille Ball and Jerry Lewis. As a young girl, she noticed the lack of Asian role models in the industry, but realized “ the only way I could change that, was to take the reigns and go into the business.” Noji worked as a child actor in television, toured South America and Asia as a recording artist at 16, and appeared on “ Star Search” as a vocal semi-finalist, enabling her to meet her childhood crush, Ed Mc Mahon. She attended the University of California, Irvine and graduated with a BA in Sociology. Noji decided to take a year off from college when she was chosen from among thousands to be one of the female cast members of the first national touring company of MISS SAIGON, the critically acclaimed musical that enjoyed a long Broadway run.

More success followed with numerous film and TV credits including a memorable performance as Miss Bangkok in BE COOL, MGM’ s sequel to GET SHORTY with John Travolta, Steven Spielberg’ s MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA, film festival favorite INSTANT TRAUMA, and the indie film JUDGE IS GOD, on which she was also a producer. Her TV credits include “ Spin City” (ABC), “ The Bold and the Beautiful” (CBS), and a four year run on the iconic daytime drama, “ General Hospital” (ABC), playing Dr. Kelly Lee, a brilliant sex addicted gynecologist. Noji also starred on the primetime spinoff and number one rated drama, “ Nightshift” (SOAPnet), whose premiere episode broke records as the network’ s “ most viewed telecast ever.”

This busy actress is also an accomplished voice-over artist, lending her talents to numerous video games and commercials such as X Men, True Crimes, Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, and as Supermodelquin Amy in the ubiquitous Old Navy Campaign.

Noji’ s ambitions also extend to producing and charity work. Intent on bettering the world around her, she’ s partnered with fellow “ GH” alum Kent King, under the banner Mink, empowering others to Face Their Fears through their website Minkonline.com, live events, and a TV show currently in development. She also supports a number of charities, working most prominently with Childhelp, a non-profit dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and neglect.

Noji is particularly proud of her offbeat talents which include: animal sounds, hyper-extended splits and toe tricks. She makes her home in Los Angeles with her snail named Sunshine.
